The Memphis Athletics Fund (MAF) was formed to connect passionate Memphis fans, alumni and friends around the nation with an avenue to impact the lives of current and future Memphis student-athletes through philanthropic contributions that support academic and athletic careers, holistic leadership development, annual budgetary needs, strategic facility improvements and supplementary sport-specific initiatives.
Our student-athletes continue to achieve a high level of success in the classroom and in the field of competition. Most recently, our student-athletes earned a cumulative GPA of 3.26 and a graduation success rate of 93%. Six programs: football, baseball, men’s tennis, women’s golf, women’s tennis, and volleyball, led the American Athletic Conference in graduation success rate. Athletically, our football program won 10 games for the fifth time in school history, has had 10 straight bowl game appearances; winning the 2023 AutoZone Liberty Bowl, men’s basketball has had six straight 20 win seasons, men’s soccer won its’ first ever NCAA tournament game with their first NCAA appearance since 2004, and women’s soccer program is back to back American Athletic Conference Champions with making two straight appearances in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2023.
