Memphis Athletics is proud of the accomplishments our student-athletes are achieving in the classroom and on the playing fields. All of this success is made possible by supporters that continue to strengthen our student-athletes’ education and experiences. Over the past year, we’ve seen Women’s Soccer win the American Athletic Conference Championship and advance in the NCAA tournament, Memphis Men’s Basketball make a return to March Madness, Tiger Football qualify for their 8th straight bowl game, Rifle earn bids to the NCAA Championship, and Track and Field earn eight medals at the AAC Championships, just to name a few achievements.
Your gift to Memphis Athletics provides financial resources for academic support, competitive resource assistance and scholarships to our programs and talented student-athletes. In addition to the achievements on the field, our student-athletes have reached some incredible milestones in the classroom including the following:
- Graduation Success Rate of 94% is an all-time high and leads the American Athletic Conference.
- Freshmen Women earned an all-time high GPA of 3.71 in Fall 2021.
- Men’s Cross Country earned an all-time high GPA of 3.719 in Spring 2021.
- 301 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better in Spring 2021.
- 257 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better in Fall 2021.
- 189 student-athletes made the Dean’s List in Spring 2021.
- 167 student-athletes made the Dean’s List in Fall 2021.
- 12 of our 22 Fall 2021 graduates graduated with honors. 3-Summa Cum Laude, 4-Magna Cum Laude, 5-Cum Laude.
- Tanya Boychuk (Women’s Soccer): Earned 2nd Team Scholar All-American.
