While students come to the University of Memphis for a great education, often it is their non-academic involvement that helps to build a lasting connection to the campus. Supporting one of our alumni chapter’s funds will ensure that these opportunities for connection continue long after graduation.
Being able to reengage with fellow Tigers through shared experiences is an important part of being a proud UofM graduate. Our alumni chapters make this possible by hosting events to honor outstanding alumni, reconnect friends, recruit students, raise money for scholarships, and give back to the community. Maxine A. Smith University Center Mural Match
The UofM Black Alumni Chapter (BAC) is raising money in an effort to commission a mural of Maxine A. Smith and the members of the Memphis State Eight to be painted inside the University Center. The BAC is matching all gifts made to the Luther C. McClellan Alumni Chapter General Fund up to $2,500.
